Price is based on how many people are in your organization, so it fits a growing team and a global enterprise equally well. As you grow, your plan grows with you.

Getting started
Do you provide a free trial?
Yes. You get 14 days of Sift Complete, including Org Planning, so you can try the org chart, profiles, search, and Scenarios together. Use your own people data or a sample set. No card is required. For enterprise organizations, we can extend the trial into a sandbox for a deeper evaluation.
How do I create an automated org chart?
Sift generates an org chart from one of our various integration types. Sift creates a real-time org chart based on data from your systems of record.
What is a typical full company rollout timeline?
Most customers are live in 30 days or less. Our support team works with you through setup.
Which plan is right for us?
Choose Org Chart if you need visibility and planning, Profiles if you need people to find expertise across the business, and Complete for both. Complete costs less than buying the two editions separately.
Pricing
How is Sift priced?
By the employee size of your organization. Your price is set by the headcount band you fall into. Your account rep will confirm your band when you talk to us. There are no seat counts and no per-user fees. Agreement terms are 2 years and plans are billed annually.
What counts as an employee?
Every person you synchronize from your HR, identity system, or elsewhere counts as an employee. Open and vacant positions shown on your org chart don't count, and neither do deactivated or terminated records.
What if we're right on the edge of a band?
You're priced at the band your headcount falls into on the day you execute the agreement. If you're close to the next band at renewal time, your client success manager can walk you through your options for your next renewal.
What if we only want a few people using it?
Everyone is included either way. An accurate org chart and directory gets its value from the whole company being in it, so we price on organization size and let everyone log in at no extra cost. If you're rolling Sift out to a single department or business unit, talk to us about how to size it.
What happens when we hire?
As long as your organization stays within the contracted band, nothing changes. If you grow beyond the contracted band, Sift reserves the right to invoice the prorated difference between the current band and the new band for the remainder of the current term. At renewal, we look at your headcount and adjust accordingly, up or down.
Is Org Planning an extra cost?
No. Org Planning is included in both Sift Org Chart and Sift Complete.
Can I change plans during my term?
You can upgrade at any time, and we'll prorate the difference for the rest of your term. Downgrades take effect at renewal.
Do you charge for implementation?
No. Sift never charges implementation fees.
Are there discounts?
Yes. We offer discounts for multi-year agreements of 3 years or more and a 15% discount for registered non-profits. Organizations with more than 5,000 people get custom Enterprise pricing.
What are my payment options?
Sift agreements are billed annually on a single invoice. Talk to our sales team about other arrangements.
What does Sift Enterprise include?
For organizations with more than 5,000 employees, Enterprise adds a security review, a 99.9% uptime SLA, an extended sandbox, and a named client success manager.
Integrations & your data
How secure is my data?
We take data security seriously. Our SOC 2 audit, regular security tests, and GDPR compliance mean your information stays protected at all times. You can learn more about our security and privacy posture here.
Does connecting more data sources change my price?
No. Every plan includes unlimited data integrations. Your price depends only on how many people are in your organization.
How do you integrate with my employee data?
Sift supports importing employee data from multiple internal data sources. This could be an HR system, like Workday or UKG, Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Microsoft Azure Active Directory), Google Workspace (formerly G Suite), Okta, Ping Identity, or a CSV (spreadsheet) file.
For example, you could import some of your employees from an HR system, sync employees’ names and email addresses from Microsoft Entra ID and industry certifications from a CSV file via another internal system.
Bespoke features
What is a custom attribute?
A custom attribute is a piece of your people data that is specific to your org's directory and org chart needs. We provide many useful attributes on the Org Chart and Profile page by default, but administrators can create custom attributes to make Sift truly fit your company.
If you want to showcase industry certifications that are important to move work forward, that is a custom attribute. If you want to be able to highlight remote workers on the org chart, that is a custom attribute.
Can users message each other within Sift?
Sift does not currently offer a native messaging or chat feature. However, you can integrate with your existing communication tools, such as Microsoft Teams or Slack, to create a message button on the profile that’ll link to those tools.
Can I use Sift to build an org chart from scratch?
Your live org chart always comes from your HR data, so it stays accurate without manual edits. For planning, you can start a Scenario from your whole organization, a manager, a department, or a blank canvas (i.e. from scratch).
